Assembly
Preparation
Danger Risk of injury!
Failure to observe the instructions may result in prob-
lems and risks when using the gas grill.
If applicable, wear safety gloves to protect against sharp
edges.
Always follow all assembly instructions provided.
1. First completely read through the assembly instructions.
2. If necessary, have another person assist you.
3. Take enough time for the assembly and clear a work area of
two to three square meters.
4. Arrange the required tools so that they are within reach.
Small parts such as handles may be premounted.
Required tools
1 x pliers
1 x cross-slotted screwdriver
1 x size-13 and size-14 wrench and a corresponding wrench to
mount the gas hose if required by national regulations.
Assembling the grill
1. Regarding Fig. 1: Pay attention to the holes in the sup-
port legs and run the 4 support legs through the base plate
(6) from above at the designated positions.
Screw the support legs to the base plate so that they are
secure using one M6 x 10 mm screw (F1) each.
Put the plastic feet (5) on the two right support legs from
below.
2. Regarding Fig. 2: Run the wheel axle (9) through the holes
in the left support legs (1) and (2).
Push a wheel (7) onto each side of the axle (wheel hub
protruding on the inside).
Screw both wheels in place with the M8 self-locking nuts (F6)
using a size-13 socket key or wrench. In the process, hold the
axle in place with a pliers.
Attach the wheel caps
(8).
3. Regarding Fig. 3:
Screw the door stop (10) onto the front
right support leg with two 2 4 x 10 mm tapping screws (F2).
4. Regarding Fig. 4: Mount the two side panels
(11) on the sup-
port legs using 4 M6 x 10 mm screws (F1) for each panel.
5. Regarding Fig. 5: Mount the rear panel (12) on the support
legs using 4 screws M6 x 10 mm (F1).
6. Regarding Fig. 6: Mount both supports (13) on the support
legs using 2 M6 x 10 mm screws (F1) each.
7. Regarding Fig. 7: Mount the lateral brace (14) on the
support leg using 2 M6 x 10 mm screws (F1). Attention: The
threaded hole must be located on the bottom left.
8. Regarding Fig. 8: Screw the bottom hinge pin (F3) into the
base plate.
Hook in the door (15) on the bottom and screw it firmly onto
the lateral brace (14) with a M5 x 10 mm screw (F5).
9. Regarding Fig. 9: Mount the front panel (18) on the sup-
port legs using 4 M6 x 10 mm screws (F1).
10. Regarding Fig. 10: Mount the racks (16) and (17) to the
support legs using 4 M6 x 15 mm screws (F4) each. Atten-
tion: The left rack (16) (without a handle) should be on the
side with the wheels.
The trays can be folded down for compact storage.
11. Regarding Fig. 11: Depending on national regulations,
there are two ways to connect the gas hose (22) to the grill.
First take the protective cap off the gas connection (21).
Method 1: Firmly screw one end of the gas hose (22) onto
the gas connection (21) (left-hand threading). Do not use
an extra gasket! Firmly hold the gas connection with pliers
or a size-17 wrench, then tighten the union nut of the gas
hose using a size 17 wrench.
Method 2: Run a hose clamp of the right size a few centi-
metres over the loose end of the gas hose (22). Then slide
this end onto the gas connection (21) (wet the gas connec-
tion somewhat to facilitate sliding onto the hose). Fix the
connection with the hose clamp.
Connect the other end of the gas hose (22) with the in-
cluded pressure regulator (23).
Separate instruction manuals are included with the gas
hose (22) and the pressure regulator (23). Follow these
instructions very closely when you connect the pressure
regulator (23) to the gas hose and gas canister (the figures
may differ for the hose, pressure regulator and gas canister
d
epending on the respective national standards).
Lay the hose so that it is not kinked or twisted.
12. Regarding Fig. 12: Screw the insulation panel (26) to
the outside of the grill pan
(25)
using 2
4 x 10 mm
tapping
screws(F2).
13. Regarding Fig. 13: Mount the grill pan (25) on the supports
(13). Use 4 M6 x 10 mm screws (F1) for this.
14. Regarding Fig. 15: Run the grease pan holder (27)
through the hole (a) (see Fig. 14) of the grill pan.
Clamp the grease pan (28) into the holder. When grilling,
excess grease accumulates on the bottom of the grill and
runs into the grease pan.
15. Regarding Fig. 16: Unscrew the lower nut from the ignition
tip (29).
Run the lower part of the ignition tip through the hole (b)
(see Fig. 14) of the grill pan from above and screw-tighten it
on the grill pan along with the ignition box using the nut you
previously removed.
Tighten the nut with a size-14 wrench.
Connect the ignition cable to the contact of the electric igni-
tion (19).
16. Regarding Fig. 17: Run the burner (30) with the tubes
down through the two large holes in the pan.
Attention: The temperature control nozzles must extend
into the tube ends of the burner.
The tube ends rest loosely above the nozzles. This air
gap is necessary!
Screw the burner feet firmly onto the bottom of the grill pan
using 2 tapping screws
4 x 10 mm
(F2).
17. Regarding Fig. 18:
Place the heat tent (31) on the screws
protruding on the left and right panel of the grill pan.
