Ensure that the equipment is not
hung up or held by the mains
cable. There is a risk of electric
shock from damaged mains ca-
bles.
Notethat,overtime,dirtandsand
may collect on the bottom of the
shaft, which could damage the
pump. If the water level is too low,
the silt in the shaft can quickly dry
out and impede the pump when
warming up.
Mains Connection
The pump you have purchases is already
ttedwithanearthedplug.Thepumpis
intended for connection to an earthed
socket at 230 V ~ 50Hz.
Connecting the Pressure Line
The pump is installed
- Eitherwithaxedpipeline
- Orwithaexiblehoseline.
1. Screw the bracket adapter (10)
onto the pump outlet (3).
2. Fit the hose over the reducer (9)
and secure it with a hose clamp.
Or use a screw connection

Adjustment of the oat switch
TheONandOFFswitchingpointoftheoat
switch can be adjusted by changing the posi-
tionoftheoatswitchintheoatswitchgrat-
ing. Please check the following points before
start of operation.
• Theoatswitchmustbeattachedso
thattheswitchingpointONlevelandthe
switching point OFF level can be reached
easily and with little expenditure of en-
ergy. Check this by placing the pump into
avessellledwithwaterandlifttheoat
switch carefully by hand and then lower it
again. In this case, you can see whether
the pump switches on and off.
• Alsoensurethattheseparationdistance
betweentheoatswitchheadandthe
oatswitchlatchingmechanismisnot
too small. In the case of a separation
distance which is too small, trouble-free
functioning cannot be guaranteed.
• Duringtheadjustmentoftheoatswitch,
ensurethattheoatswitchdoesnotcon-
tacttheoorbeforethepumpswitchesoff.
Attention! Risk of running dry and dam-
age to the device.
